Peter John

Peter John OBE is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in law and governance. Currently serving as Chair of The Terrapin Group since December 2020 and Trustee of The Old Vic since March 2021, Peter also maintains a long-standing role as a barrister at Five Paper, specializing in contested Probate, Trusts, and Inheritance Act claims since September 2000. From May 2018 to October 2020, Peter chaired London Councils, which unites all of London's local authorities, and led Southwark Council from May 2010 to October 2020. Educational credentials include a Diploma from the Financial Times Non-Executive Director Programme and a Bachelor of Laws - LLB from Queen Mary University of London, alongside Bar Finals from the Inns of Court School of Law.
