Dan Carpenter

Dan Carpenter is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in research, project management, and employer relations. Currently serving as the Director of Employer Relations at The Ottawa Education Group since December 2024, Dan previously held roles at The Conference Board of Canada as a Research Associate and Research Analyst in Innovation & Technology, managing projects and authoring research reports. Dan's background includes research assistance at McMaster University, where expertise in artificial intelligence governance was developed, along with experience in teaching and public engagement. Additional roles in business development and financial advising underscore Dan's versatile skill set, complemented by a Master's degree in International/Global Studies and an Honours BA in History from McMaster University.
