Melissa Dechellis

Adaptively Abled Program Director; Head Trainer, Inclusive Bootcamp; Crossfit L1 Coach at The Phoenix

Melissa DeChellis is an accomplished leader in the field of adaptive fitness and rehabilitation, currently serving as the Founder and President of Adaptively Abled Amputees since April 2017. In addition to directing this organization, Melissa is the Adaptively Abled Program Director and Head Trainer at The Phoenix, where comprehensive support and fitness programs for persons with physical disabilities are offered. As a Lululemon Ambassador, Melissa was recognized as the first plus-sized amputee ambassador, facilitating inclusive fitness events and participating in inclusivity discussions. Previous roles include Community Resource Director at The Liner Wand and Clinical Research Coordinator at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, where contributions to various projects focused on spinal cord injury and limb loss were made. Melissa holds a Biology degree from the College of the Holy Cross and has extensive experience in clinical research management.
