Rachel Hoff (Q/A)

Rachel Hoff is an experienced professional in foreign policy and national security. Currently serving as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at The LBJ School of Public Affairs since August 2021, Rachel teaches both virtually and in-person as part of the Foreign Policy Semester in Washington program. As Policy Director at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library Foundation and Institute since January 2019, Rachel leads initiatives focused on peace, strength, and democracy. Previous roles include Communications Director & Policy Advisor for the United States Senate Committee on Armed Services, Director of Defense Analysis at the American Action Forum, and Director of External Affairs at The Foreign Policy Initiative. Rachel's earlier career included positions such as Graduate Research Assistant at the Clements Center for National Security and various roles in government relations and media coordination. Rachel holds a Master of Global Policy Studies from The LBJ School and a BA in Political Science and Philosophy from Tufts University.
