Sarah Wood

Sarah Wood is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in various sectors, including horticulture, literature, and technology. Currently serving as a horticulture student at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh and Capel Manor College, Sarah is pursuing RHS Level 2. As a Board Trustee at the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families since February 2021, Sarah contributes to important initiatives in child and family mental health. Previously, Sarah held several high-level positions, including Non-Executive Director roles at Signal AI and Hambro Perks Acquisition Company, and Senior Independent Director at Tech Nation. Notable achievements include co-founding Unruly, a leading video marketplace, and serving as a judge for the Women's Prize for Fiction. Academically, Sarah holds an MPhil and PhD from the University of Cambridge and has been involved in higher education as an Associate Lecturer and Course Convenor.
