Gordon Austin

Gordon Austin is a highly experienced professional in the fields of oral and maxillofacial surgery and military service. With a distinguished career in the U.S. Navy, ascending to the rank of Captain, Gordon spent nearly four decades serving in various roles, including as the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Specialty Leader in the Navy Reserve. Gordon's contributions to the dental field were further demonstrated through leadership positions in the Reserve Officers Association, where advocacy for military dental concerns was paramount. Since retiring in April 2011, Gordon serves as a Life Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine, joining an esteemed group of historical figures in medicine. Educational qualifications include a DMD from the Medical College of Georgia and specialized training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
