Kristin Argue

Kristin Argue is an experienced design consultant specializing in custom window coverings, currently with The Shade Store since June 2017. Previously, Kristin held a design consultant role at Stoneside Blinds & Shades in 2022 and served as Production Manager at Dark Garden Unique Corsetry from 2008 to 2017, overseeing all aspects of garment construction and managing materials. Kristin's extensive background in the entertainment industry includes work as a Set Decoration - Window Covering Specialist on numerous feature films and commercials for respected companies such as Disney and Lucasfilm from 1989 to 2008. Additionally, Kristin owned Argue Interiors, focusing on custom fabric furnishings while managing a team of subcontractors. Earlier roles include Gallery Manager at Spazio Disponibile, Product Designer at Tradewinds, and Theater Manager at Live Oak Theater. Educational credentials include studies at the University of California Extension and Fugi Studio.
