Brian Carney

Brian graduated from Purdue University in 2007 with a degree in Computer Graphics Technology. He worked in Indianapolis for a few years in e-Learning graphics while completing the Animation Mentor program to hone his animation skills. In 2011, Brian made the voyage west to begin a fruitful film career. Working at studios like Techincolor and Digital Domain, he acquired a range of visual effects skills from rotoscoping and compositing Iron Man to animating Rocket Raccoon. He joined The Third Floor in 2014 where he excelled in applying all his visual effects and animation knowledge in his work and helping expand the skills of the artists around him. At his core, Brian believes you can never stop learning so he uses that philosophy in his everyday life while collaborating to make the best work possible with those around him. When he’s not helping to save the world from murderous super-bots or alien sociopaths, Brian can be found exploring the streets of Santa Monica with his dog or cheering on the LAFC.
