Kristen Fusaro-Pizzo possesses extensive experience in education and leadership roles, currently serving as part of the UFT Teacher Center and as a Peer Collaborative Teacher and English Teacher at Staten Island Technical High School since 2009. Responsibilities include district leadership through the Staten Island Leadership Pipeline, fostering cultural responsiveness, and redefining grading practices. Additional roles encompass Educational Technology Model Teacher, Interim Acting Assistant Principal, and Coordinator of Student Activities, where Kristen has successfully managed budgets, organized events, and enhanced community engagement. Previous experience includes teaching English across grades 1-12 for the NYC Department of Education, founding multiple businesses, and serving as an adjunct professor at the College of Staten Island. Kristen holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from Binghamton University and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Educational Leadership from the College of St. Rose.
