Melissa Khan

Melissa Khan currently serves as Assistant Press Secretary for the United Federation of Teachers, a position held since December 2021. Prior to this, Melissa accumulated extensive experience in media and communications, including roles as a Video Editor and Supervisor at NY1 News from April 2016 to December 2021, and as News Editor at RNN from July 2015 to March 2016. Earlier career positions included Freelance Video Editor at Time Warner Cable NY1 News, Resident Assistant at The College of New Rochelle, and various internships at organizations such as WABC-TV and ESPN Radio. Melissa holds a degree from The College of New Rochelle, where studies were completed from 2010 to 2014.
