Scott Phelps

Scott Phelps is a business development manager with over 25 years of experience in the finance and software industries. Scott is currently a trustee at The University of Alabama System, and was previously a senior vendor manager at Syscap.

Phelps began their career in 1992 at Sage, where they worked for 10 years as a business development manager. In this role, they helped to increase sales of enterprise products and provided alternative financing options to clients. Scott also consistently helped to grow new business sales volumes and protect existing customer bases.

In 2003, Phelps joined Syscap, a finance specialist for the IT industry. Scott quickly rose through the ranks to become senior vendor manager. In this role, they managed finance programs for major software vendors, including Microsoft Dynamics AX/Nav partners. Scott also helped to increase sales of enterprise products by providing clients with alternative financing options.

Phelps has a proven track record of success in the finance and software industries. Scott has helped to grow new business sales volumes and protect existing customer bases. Scott is also Leasing Worlds - Vendor Finance Lessor of the Year 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014.
