Lori Greene

Lori Greene, PhD, RDN, LDN, serves as the Director of the Coordinated Program in Dietetics at the University of Alabama since March 2007, where responsibilities include communicating with students about the program and arranging their experiential learning. In addition to this role, Lori has taught undergraduate courses in food and nutrition, developed curriculum, and supervised teaching assistants, significantly growing the distance undergraduate program. Prior experience includes serving as the Assistant Director for Nutrition Education and Health Services, where campus wellness initiatives and medical nutrition therapy services were designed and implemented. Previous roles at the University of Alabama at Birmingham involved coordinating clinical research projects on various health topics and providing dietary education. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Communication and Information Sciences from The University of Alabama and a Master's of Science in Clinical Nutrition from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
