Clayton Harris III is an experienced professional in public policy and government affairs, currently serving as a Lecturer at The University of Chicago since September 2009, focusing on policing and race in America. Previously, Harris held significant roles including Director of Public Policy and Government Affairs at Lyft and Executive Director of the Illinois International Port District, where efforts centered on economic development for the City of Chicago and the State of Illinois. Additional experience includes serving as Midwest Director at CH2M, and as a key administrator within various state departments for the State of Illinois, including roles as Deputy Chief of Staff and Chief of Staff.
