Mike Pietrus

Mike Pietrus, Psy.D, currently serves as the Director of Mental Health Services at UChicago Student Wellness, a position held since February 2024. As a licensed clinical psychologist, Mike Pietrus also owns a part-time private practice, providing individual and group psychotherapy, consultation, and psychological assessment. With extensive experience in mental health counseling, Mike Pietrus has held roles at various institutions, including the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and the University of Chicago. In addition, Mike Pietrus contributes to the field as an advisory board member for the Center for Collegiate Mental Health and has a creative side as a songwriter and composer, creating original music for film and art projects since 2010. Education includes a Psy.D in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School and a B.S. in Psychology and Philosophy from the University of Westminster.
