Interim Chief Medical Informatics Officer at The University of Kansas Health System

Keith Sale, MD, FAAOA, is a distinguished otolaryngologist affiliated with The University of Kansas Health System since October 2016, currently serving as Interim Chief Medical Informatics Officer and Vice President/Chief Physician Executive for Ambulatory Services. Additionally, since October 2023, Keith Sale holds the position of President Elect at the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy. As an Associate Professor at the University of Kansas Medical Center and previously as a Vice Chair for Clinical Operations and Residency Program Director at KU Department of Otolaryngology, Keith Sale specializes in allergy and sinus disease management, VNS implantation, and obstructive sleep apnea surgery. Keith Sale earned an MD from the Medical University of South Carolina, a Certificate in Physician Leadership from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and a BA in Biology from Drake University.
