Jayan Jayanthan

Jayan Jayanthan is an experienced professional in network systems and telecommunications, currently serving as Technical Lead for Networks at The University of Queensland since February 2011, where responsibilities include design, implementation, and maintenance of campus-wide network and communication infrastructures. Prior roles at The University of Queensland involved managing network deployment projects and serving as Network Project Manager for infrastructure projects at various campuses. Jayanthan's experience also includes significant positions at Dialog Axiata PLC, where responsibilities encompassed conducting feasibility studies for emerging technologies and developing technology roadmaps. Jayanthan began their career at Enterprise Technology (Pvt) Ltd with roles focused on network design and implementation before briefly serving as a Visiting Instructor at the University of Moratuwa. Jayanthan holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Colombo and a Bachelor's degree in Electronic & Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Moratuwa.
