Thais Sobanski

Thais Sobanski is a dedicated researcher with extensive experience in biomedical sciences and cancer biology. Currently a PhD student at the Translational Research Institute Australia since January 2019, Thais has received an International Scholarship from the Australian Government as part of the Research Training Program. Prior to this, Thais has been a Master's student at Hospital de Cancer de Barretos, focusing on tumor suppressor gene promoter hypermethylation analysis in colorectal cancer under the supervision of esteemed professionals. Thais also completed experimental research training in molecular biology at Fiocruz, where the project centered on the detection of Herpes Simplex Virus infections. Educationally, Thais holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Sciences from Estácio and gained further training in oncology and cancer biology at Queensland University of Technology.
