Jianyang du

Jianyang Du is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in neuroscience and physiology. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center since January 2020, Jianyang previously held the position of Assistant Professor at The University of Toledo from August 2016 to January 2020. Prior to that, Jianyang worked as a Research Assistant Professor at The University of Iowa, where Jianyang was also the Principal Investigator for the American Heart Association Scientist Development Grant from 2015 to 2018. Jianyang's research background includes roles as a Research Specialist and Research Associate at the Michael Welsh Lab and postdoctoral work in the Lixia Yue lab at UConn Health. Jianyang earned a Ph.D. in Physiology from Sun Yat-sen University and a BS in Biology from Sichuan University.
