Catherine Schlichting

Catherine Schlichting, M.Ed., currently serves as the Assistant Director of Student Activities at The University of Texas at Austin, where responsibilities include advising student organizations on management, program planning, and risk management, as well as conducting workshops on institutional policies. Previously, Catherine functioned as an Engagement Strategist in Employer and Alumni Engagement at Texas McCombs, executing large-scale recruiting events and evaluating their success through metrics. Catherine's extensive experience also includes roles in student affairs within the College of Pharmacy, where event programming and career events for students were managed, and as a senior administrative associate in the Office of the Registrar. Catherine’s background features brand ambassadorship at MKTG and public relations expertise from an internship with Voice of America. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Policy from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Marymount University.
