Leland Murphy

Leland Murphy is an experienced leader and advocate with a robust background in student affairs and political engagement. Currently serving as Assistant Complex Coordinator at The University of Texas at Austin since December 2019, Leland has previously held roles including Resident Assistant, Teaching Assistant, and Orientation Advisor. Leland also served as the Student Government President, representing over 50,000 students and leading initiatives for positive campus change. Additional experiences include internships with Texas Political Consulting and the Texas Legislature, along with roles in organizations focused on social justice and religious freedom. Leland is pursuing a Masters of Public Affairs at The LBJ School of Public Affairs, building on a Bachelor's degree in Government from The University of Texas at Austin.
