Caroline Brunton

Caroline Brunton is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public health policy and program management. As a Program Officer at the W.K. Kellogg Foundation since July 2017, Caroline leads the Health Equity portfolio, providing strategic oversight and technical assistance to grantees while fostering relationships with key stakeholders. Prior to this role, Caroline served for over 13 years at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, rising to the position of Associate Director for Policy, where significant contributions included developing a successful legislative outreach strategy that secured a 4% increase in appropriations amid budget cuts. Caroline holds a JD from Georgia State University College of Law, an MPH in Epidemiology from the University of Michigan, and a BS in Microbiology and Chemistry from the University of Rhode Island.
