Michelle Koran

Michelle Koran is an experienced financial professional with a robust background in payroll and accounting. Currently, as the Senior Payroll and Retirement Plan Manager at the University of Wisconsin Foundation since April 1990, Michelle manages vendor relationships, policy coordination, and benefit administration for a workforce of 350 employees. Previous roles include Accountant at the same foundation, focusing on reconciling a multi-billion dollar endowment portfolio, and Accounts Payable Specialist at Dean Health System. Michelle has also served as Treasurer for Wisconsin Inspire Cooperative Inc. since May 2020, supporting a community of synchronized skating enthusiasts in Southern Wisconsin. Additionally, as Team Captain for "Kickin' It For Kyle" at the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Michelle has successfully raised over $21,000 for diabetes research through organizing fundraising efforts and community engagement. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
