Andrew Van Dam is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in reporting and data visualization. Since 2017, Andrew has served as a columnist and reporter for The Washington Post. Prior to that, Andrew worked at The Wall Street Journal from 2012 to 2017, holding the position of data visualization reporter and contributing to infographics. Andrew's career also includes a role as a producer at Boston Globe Media for a brief period in 2012, and as a broadcast coordinator at WGBH from 2010 to 2012. Earlier positions include office manager at Kaplan Test Prep from 2006 to 2008 and reporter at Idaho Press-Tribune in 2007. Andrew's academic background includes degrees from the University of Missouri-Columbia and the University of Oklahoma.
