Pranshu Verma is an experienced journalist currently working as a reporter for The Washington Post since March 2022. Prior to this role, Verma served as a tech reporter at Boston Globe Media from June 2021 to February 2022 and held the position of reporting fellow at The New York Times from June 2020 to June 2021. Verma also gained experience as a reporting fellow covering New Jersey for The Philadelphia Inquirer from May 2019 to June 2020. An investigative reporting fellow at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism from August 2018 to May 2019, Verma was awarded the Toni Stabile Investigative Fellowship while pursuing a Master of Science in Journalism. Earlier academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Delaware, earned between 2005 and 2009.
