Dennis Cheng

Dennis Cheng currently serves as the Deputy Assistant to the President and Deputy Political Director at The White House, a position held since November 2023. Prior to this role, Dennis was the Executive Vice President of the Clinton Foundation from January to November 2023. Cheng founded Cheng Strategies in October 2019, acting as Principal and providing senior advisory services to various organizations. Additional experience includes serving as a Founding Board Member and Senior Advisor at Onward Together and a Chief of Staff at Compass. Cheng has held multiple advisory roles, including Senior Advisor for External Outreach at Biden for President and National Finance Director at Hillary for America. Previous experience also includes serving at the Clinton Foundation as Chief Development Officer and at the U.S. Department of State as Deputy Chief of Protocol. Dennis holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Political Science from Swarthmore College and a Master's Degree in International Relations from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
