In addition, Kathy Sullivan holds advisory roles on the boards of Terra Alpha Investments and the National Audubon Society, and is a Director at International Paper. Kathy Sullivan's involvement extends to membership in esteemed organizations such as the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and the National Academy of Engineering. With a notable tenure as Under Secretary of Commerce for Oceans and Atmosphere and Administrator of NOAA, Kathy Sullivan's educational background includes a PhD in Oceanography from Dalhousie University and a B.S. in Earth Sciences from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
