Joumana abu-Shaheen

Joumana Abu-Shaheen, SHRM-SCP, currently serves as the Director of Human Resources at The Windward School since October 2023. Prior to this role, Joumana held multiple positions at the Institute of International Education from May 2014 to October 2023, culminating in the position of Director, Talent Management, where strategic guidance on HR and talent management programs was provided to various business units. Joumana's earlier experience includes serving as Talent Director at Leo Burnett Group in New York, focusing on performance management and talent development, as well as holding the role of Director, People & Culture at Leo Burnett Group in Dubai, where the HR department was established for multiple agencies. Joumana holds a BA in Public Communications from American University and an MA in International Education and Human Development from The George Washington University.
