Ruthie Helmer

Ruthie Helmer currently serves as a 5th Grade Teacher at Winnetka Public Schools-District 36, a position held since June 2021. Prior experience includes teaching 4th Grade at Southwest Local School District from June 2017 to June 2021. Ruthie has also held various leadership and educational roles, such as Chief Education Officer for the Gamma Upsilon Chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta and Vice President of the NU Chapter of Kappa Delta Pi. Moreover, Ruthie has experience as a Director of Recruitment and Campus Tour Guide at Miami University, enhancing recruitment efforts and engaging with prospective students. Ruthie’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Middle Childhood Education from Miami University and a Master of Education from the same institution, along with an Educational Leadership Endorsement from National Louis University.
