Sydney Lewis

Sydney Lewis is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching and educational coordination. Currently serving as a Teacher with the NYC Department of Education since August 2017, Sydney also holds the position of Teacher and School Coordinator at Workmen's Circle/Arbeter Ring since August 2015. Previous roles include Early Childhood Policy Consultant for the Children's Defense Fund, Preschool Assistant Teacher at Teachers College, Columbia University, and Religious School Teacher at Congregation Rodeph Sholom. Sydney has also worked as Assistant Dean of Admission at Wesleyan University and as a Field Organizer for Shenna Bellows' US Senate campaign. Sydney's educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Elementary Inclusive Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Psychology from Wesleyan University.
