The Yappie is the only nonpartisan publication dedicated to tracking Asian American and Pacific Islander power, politics, and influence. We are activist-focused, policy-driven, and aimed at empowering the next generation of AAPI political leaders and voters. The Yappie is fiscally sponsored by the Asian American Journalists Association (AAJA).

Each week, an all-volunteer team produces a comprehensive rundown of the policy news and activism affecting AAPI communities, with updates from Capitol Hill and beyond. The Yappie's coverage has been featured in Axios, POLITICO, USA Today, PBS NewsHour, Yahoo News, and elsewhere.
