Sukanta Chakraborty

Sukanta Chakraborty is an experienced animation professional with a diverse background in animation and visual effects. Currently serving as Animation Supervisor at The Mill since July 2019, Sukanta has also held roles as Lead Animation Artist and Animator, contributing to high-profile projects in film and digital media. Previous experience includes positions at Double Negative, working on VFX projects such as "Venom 2," and at Prana Studio on international CGI projects like "Watership Down." Other notable experiences include animator roles at Prime Focus World, Turtle in Motion Studios, Maya Digital Studios, and HRCL Productions, as well as freelance storyboard and animation work. Sukanta holds a B.Sc. and a postgraduate diploma in digital media, physics, and animation from the Image College of Art, Animation & Technology.
