Shaun Astarabadi

Shaun Astarabadi is an experienced consultant and technologist, with a strong focus on computer vision, artificial intelligence, and algorithm development. Currently at OASIS since May 2019, Shaun has contributed to enhancements in face landmark stabilization and optimized neural network model implementations. Previously, Shaun held senior roles at Western Digital, leading R&D efforts in computational storage acceleration, genomics pipeline acceleration, and advanced digital content science. Additional experience includes software development for in-flight entertainment systems at Panasonic and Thales, as well as core logic firmware at Toshiba. Shaun's extensive background in embedded systems and software engineering spans several decades across various prestigious organizations.
