Therapeutic Health Services operates on the belief that chemical dependency and mental illness are chronic, progressive diseases that respond to appropriate intervention, treatment and prevention. By effectively implementing all three, individuals and families are better able to lead healthy and productive lives in their communities.

Our History:

Started in 1972, THS has grown to 9 locations throughout the Seattle metropolitan area. With over 200 employees, we offer incredible benefits for Full Time employees. This includes competitive salary, 12 to 20 paid days vacation per year, 12 days of paid sick leave per year, 11 holidays, fully paid medical, dental, and life insurance.  

Our Philosophy:

Each year, more people die or become disabled from substance abuse and severe mental illness than from any other preventable cause.

In fact, one in four deaths in our country is the result of alcohol, drug or tobacco abuse. You can imagine the enormous burden this places on everything from family life and public safety to health care. By helping our neighbors overcome alcohol and drug addiction, we help strengthen our entire community.

At Therapeutic Health Services, we believe in treatment that deals with the whole person and every aspect of their life. Our approach includes mental health and family services, plus a wide range of chemical dependency treatments such as methadone and counseling. Years of working with the diverse community of Puget Sound has taught our staff the value of providing services that are culturally relevant and in line with each individual’s needs.

The Healthcare & Clinical Services team at Therapeutic Health Services is dedicated to fostering healing and recovery through comprehensive intervention, treatment, and prevention of chemical dependency and mental illness. Comprised of social workers, clinical administrative assistants, mental health directors, advanced registered nurse practitioners (ARNPs), and parent partners, this team coordinates and delivers culturally relevant mental health and substance abuse treatments, including counseling and methadone services. Their efforts aim to support individuals and families in leading healthier, more productive lives within their communities.
