Rakesh Maharjan

Rakesh Maharjan is a seasoned Senior Business Intelligence Analyst at Thiess since July 2024, with a robust background in data architecture and analytics. Previously, Rakesh worked at Glencore Technology as a Business Intelligence Developer, where Rakesh led the implementation of a company-wide data architecture using Microsoft Fabric to improve data accessibility and integrity. Rakesh also served as a Power BI Analyst, driving the transition from Excel to advanced analytics and automating data reporting processes. At Build-Apps, Rakesh designed and implemented Business Intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI, while at Obzervr, Rakesh developed scalable analytics solutions for industries like mining and oil and gas. Rakesh holds multiple degrees, including a Master's in Information Technology with a focus on Data Science from QUT, an MBA in International Business, and a Master in Information Technology, alongside a Bachelor's in Computing.
