Kate Mardel-Ferreira is an experienced sports professional with a strong background in operations, sponsorship management, and event consulting. Currently serving as a Member of the Board of Advisors at Kate of the Sea and a Sports Impact Consultant at thinkBeyond, Kate has previously held significant roles such as Sponsorship Manager at Mallory Group and Deputy Event Director and Project Manager for the Formula Kite European Championships 2023 with the Royal Yachting Association. Other notable positions include Consultant at The Charity Spark and Event Consultant with GREAT BRITAIN WHEELCHAIR RUGBY LIMITED, where Kate successfully delivered key events. With a Master's degree in Sport Management from London Metropolitan University, Kate has over a decade of experience, including a tenure as Head of Operations and Programmes at 1851 Trust and significant contributions to the British Sailing Team's commercial programme.
