Varun Nair

Varun Nair is a seasoned technology leader and entrepreneur currently serving as Co-Founder and CTO of That Works since March 2022, where the focus is on enhancing team collaboration through an AI-powered platform. Nair also contributes to Old College Capital as an Investment Committee member and mentors early-stage companies through CodeBase. With a strong background in investment and advisory roles, Nair is involved with Pasabi as an Investor and Board Advisor and offers technology and growth consultancy to startups and large companies. Previously, Nair held significant positions at Facebook, including Head of AR/VR Audio Software and Engineering Manager, after co-founding Two Big Ears, which was acquired by Facebook for its immersive audio technology. Nair’s expertise extends to contributions in industry standards through participation in the W3C Working Group, and a solid foundation in sound design comes from an MSc degree from The University of Edinburgh.
