Akosua Crumbsy

Akosua Crumbsy, MS, COA, currently serves as an Ophthalmic Technician Training Specialist and Certified Ophthalmic Assistant at Thomas Eye Group since October 2021. Responsibilities include pre-charting patients, maintaining clinical supplies, and utilizing various ophthalmic testing equipment alongside Electronic Medical Records for diagnostic information. Previous experience includes working as a Clinical Research Assistant at Atlanta Center for Medical Research, where management of trial studies and patient visits was critical, and as a Medical Scribe for ProScribe, facilitating daily clinical operations. Akosua has also held roles as a Water Fitness Instructor, Lifeguard, and Student Administrative Assistant across various organizations. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Biology from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Howard University, complemented by summer enrichment in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Louisville and a high school diploma in Dance from The School of the Arts at Carver.
