Tandis Taghavi

Tandis Taghavi is a Senior Associate Attorney at Thompson, Coe, Cousins & Irons L.L.P. since June 2022, with prior experience as an Associate Attorney at The Kelley Law Firm from April 2021 to May 2022 and as a Public Defender for the County of San Diego Office of the Public Defender in early 2020. In addition to practical legal experience, Tandis served on the editorial board for San Diego Lawyer Magazine in 2019, co-authored a published article on Marijuana Law, and conducted research for a law review article regarding women and male law deans while at California Western School of Law. With a strong interest in family and criminal law cases demonstrated during a legal internship at Curran Law Firm, Tandis also worked as Assistant Corporate Counsel for Prism Hotels and completed a legal internship at the Office of the Attorney General. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Law (JD) from California Western School of Law and a degree in Political Science/Business from Texas A&M University.
