Savana Stewart

Savana Stewart is an emerging professional in structural engineering with extensive experience gained through various internships and academic roles. Currently serving as a Structural Engineering Intern at Thornton Tomasetti, Savana is involved in projects such as an athletic center and a baseball stadium, utilizing tools like RAM Structural Systems and SAP 2000. Previous roles include grading for the Structural Theory II course and working as an ICC/VDC Intern at Mortenson, focusing on Integrated Construction Coordination for the Lasch Football building at Penn State. Additional experience includes serving as an Academic Assistant for Civil Engineering Senior Design and a Learning Assistant for Statics at The George Washington University, as well as a Research Assistant studying earthquake energy dissipation under Professor Pedro Silva. An engineering internship at Shell & Meyer Associates further solidified foundational skills in design. Savana holds a Bachelor of Science in Structural Engineering from The George Washington University and is pursuing a Master of Science in Structural Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology.
