Sham Chatterjee

Sham Chatterjee is currently an advisor at ThoughtData. Prior to that, they were the Chief Information & Technology Officer at Satellite Healthcare / WellBound from January 2017 to December 2020.

At Satellite Healthcare / WellBound, Sham led teams of 100+, responsible for all technology functions across the company, including IT, Security and Engineering. Sham executed 7 parallel workstreams to build a strong technology organization and embarked on a true digital transformation modernization program to position the business to scale in alignment with strategy.

Some of the key workstreams included restructuring IT, modernizing core applications and infrastructure, strengthening security, cloud migration and disaster recovery, resulting in a modern technology foundation. Sham revitalized the company’s ability to connect with patients and external hospital EHR systems, and aligned technology that grew patients, revenues, and our footprint across the US.

Sham also restructured the Software Engineering, QA, Infrastructure, BI/Data Warehousing/Analytics and Support functions resulting in faster development cycle and 100% improvement in employee satisfaction. Additionally, they built new teams including Applications/Supply-Chain, Governance/PMO, Cybersecurity Office and IT Vendor Management function to enable business strategy.

Under their leadership, the company successfully deployed security technologies, including security incident management, 24x7 security operations center (SOC), endpoint protection, and security awareness training.

Sham Chatterjee has a Master of Science in Computer Science from Pace University and a Master of Science in Physics (Electronics) from the University of Mumbai.
