Dr. Alexander Miehr

Dr. Alexander Miehr is an experienced leader in material management and procurement, currently serving as Leiter Kompetenzcenter Materialwirtschaft and Leiter Einkauf at Thüga Aktiengesellschaft since June 2020. Prior to this role, Dr. Miehr spent over 15 years at Infineon Technologies, advancing from Senior Director Material Management to Director Technical Procurement, responsible for overseeing material management across multiple global locations and driving cost-efficient procurement strategies. Early career experience includes strategic marketing at Wacker Siltronic AG and key account management roles at Wacker Siltronic Corp., specializing in specialty chemicals and semiconductor manufacturing. Academically, Dr. Miehr holds a Doctorate in Inorganic Chemistry from Technical University of Munich and degrees in Management in Science and Technology from Oregon Health & Science University, as well as a Global Manager Program from Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business.
