Tim Huang

Tim Huang is an Applied Scientist at Thumbtack since March 2022, bringing a robust background in data science and engineering. Prior experience includes roles as an Analyst at McKinsey & Company, and as a Software Engineer Intern at Sam Schwartz, where Tim developed backend data ingest pipelines and set up server architectures for analytics applications. Tim also held Data Scientist Intern positions at Great Place to Work US, focusing on churn analysis, and was an Engineer Intern at FormFactor Inc., performing data analysis and presenting findings on probe card technology. Additionally, Tim contributed to academia as a Computer Science Mentor at Berkeley ANova and as a Lab Academic Student Employee at UC Berkeley. Tim holds a Master of Science in Data Science from Columbia University and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
