Elgin Koh

Elgin Koh currently serves as the Global Data Protection Officer at Thunes since January 2021, leading privacy initiatives for a company that facilitates international payments for prominent businesses. Prior to Thunes, Elgin worked as a Senior Privacy Engineer at Grab, where responsibilities included conducting privacy reviews and assessments and collaborating with various teams to mitigate privacy risks. Elgin's career also includes a role as a Technology Advisor at the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC), focusing on investigations into data breaches and technology-related best practices. Elgin's earlier experience as a Project Manager at PulseSync Pte Ltd and eFusion Solutions strengthens a solid foundation in project management. Elgin holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from the University of Canberra, earned between 1996 and 1999.
