Thambeleni Mudogwa

Thambeleni Mudogwa has extensive experience in surveying, currently holding the position of Senior Surveyor at Thungela since March 2022, along with roles as Act Mine Activity Engineer and Act Survey Manager. Previous experience includes serving as Acting Senior Surveyor at Anglo Coal SA - Isibonelo Colliery, where duties involved planning and scheduling for pre-strip shovels, monitoring bench slopes, and engaging in continuous improvement initiatives. Thambeleni also held the role of Mine Surveyor PIT and completed a trainee program at Goedehoop Colliery. Educational qualifications include a recent short course in Aerial Surveying for 3D Surface Modeling and Detailed Mapping from the University of Pretoria, a UAS pilot license from RPAS Training Academy, and a Mine Surveyors Certificate of Competency. Academic achievements also encompass degrees in Mineral Resources Management and Mineral Surveying from the University of Johannesburg and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Limpopo.
