Simon Hafner

Simon Hafner is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product management and engineering, currently serving as a Product Manager at thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions AG since May 2012. In this role, Simon specializes in gasification, methanation, and power to synthetic natural gas (SNG), overseeing product management, product development, engineering, commissioning, and project management, as well as conducting CFD simulations. Prior to this position, Simon worked as a Process Project Engineer at CHOREN Industries, focusing on the engineering and commissioning of biomass gasification systems. Simon holds a Doktor (Ph.D.) in Physikalische Chemie from Heidelberg University and a Diplom-Ingenieur (FH) in Energiesystemtechnik from Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen.
