Irini Neofotistos

Irini Neofotistos is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in social justice and cultural organizations. Currently serving as Senior Advisor at Tides since October 2014, Irini collaborates with leaders and donors to promote human rights through a dedicated service model that offers strategic operational support. Previously, Irini held the position of Director at Union Square Awards from January 2006 to March 2014, where efforts focused on supporting grassroots organizations addressing social justice issues. Additionally, Irini was the Interim Director of the Greek Cultural Center from August 2004 to December 2005, fostering Greek arts and culture, and served as Deputy Director at Roosevelt Island Youth Program from March 2001 to November 2003, facilitating programs for youth engagement. Irini holds a Master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Social Sciences from NYU and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Women's Studies from Hunter College, along with participation in the CORO Immigrant Civic Leadership Program and the McNair Fellow program at the University of New Hampshire.
