Stephanie Nakamine

Stephanie Nakamine is an experienced educator currently serving as a Middle School Math and Science Teacher for the Tigard-Tualatin School District since August 2023. Previously, Stephanie worked as a Substitute Teacher for ESS and as a Middle School Science Teacher for Baltimore City Public Schools, where hands-on science lessons were taught using the IQWST curriculum. An Urban Teachers Resident, Stephanie engaged in elementary education while pursuing a Master's degree in Education from Johns Hopkins University. Additionally, experience includes teaching English online with VIPKid, serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer, and tutoring high school students in math. Educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education and Teaching and Biology from the University of Portland.
