Julia Bakker

Julia Bakker is currently a Student Assistant in Social Psychology at Tilburg University, where responsibilities include supporting the development of a postmaster program in social psychology. As a Student Recruiter, Julia promotes the university and shares insights with prospective students. Previous roles include student assistant for the Use (Y)our Talents! initiative, focusing on the implementation of a national program aimed at cultural change in academia. Julia is also engaged with AIESEC in the Netherlands as an Incoming Global Talent, facilitating internships for international students. Contributions to the Study Association POLIS include serving on the Advisory Board and coordinating events. Additional experience includes home care support at Actief Zorg and volunteer work with Serve the City Tilburg. Julia has a Bachelor's degree in Global Management of Social Issues from Tilburg University, expected in January 2024, and holds a high school diploma from Herbert Vissers College.
