Butch Mayhew

Butch Mayhew has worked in the software industry since 2006. Butch began their career at Complete Communication Services as Manager of Operations, where they managed the call center, vendor relations, and process flow. In 2012, they joined Daxko as a Quality Assurance Engineer, where they worked on an agile development team as a software tester, served as a scrum master, and helped build out a UI test automation framework. In 2018, they transitioned to Club Automation (a Daxko company) as Engineering Manager and Software Test Manager. In this role, they introduced exploratory testing practices, standardization around release practices, and top-notch test automation practices. Butch also hired and coached 4 new testers. In 2019, they moved to Daxko as Director of Software Test. Most recently, in 2021, they became Head of Quality and Reliability at Tilled.

Butch Mayhew attended Auburn University. Butch also obtained a certification in "Confronting Bias: Thriving Across Our Differences" from LinkedIn in June 2020.
