Kathleen Lundgren

Kathleen is a bioethicist, having earned her Master of Divinity degree (M.Div.Ethics) from Yale University with a double concentration in Medical Ethics and the History of Psychological & Social Development. Kathleen taught bioethics at Yale, and as a clinical pediatric ethicist at Yale Children’s Hospital consulted and wrote policy. She has dedicated most of her professional life to bioethics and health policy serving on the Yale School of Medicine Human Investigation Committee for Research and the Advisory Board of Yale School of Medicine Humanities in Medicine for over a decade. She wrote and edited The Yale Guide to Careers in Medicine and the Health Sciences (2003). She remains a member of the American Society of Bioethics and Humanities. Kathleen and her husband, Ken, retired to La Jolla and Kathleen is now a Patron member of Patrons of the Prado, a member of the Village Garden Club of La Jolla, and the La Jolla Woman’s Club.
